Pat is a secondary mathematics teacher, currently working as an Algebra 1/Algebra 2 teacher at Loy Norrix high school in Kalamazoo, MI. In the past, Pat has taught Personal Finance, Geometry and 8th grade mathematics.
Pat is interested in using technology as a means for students to engage with and understand mathematics.
Pat went to Michigan State University for his bachelor's degree, graduating with a BA in mathematics in 2008. Pat currently pursuing his Master's in Educational Technology degree through Michigan State University.
Drew Missureli

Drew is a graduate of University Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Drew currently is a math teacher at Rodriguez High School in Fairfield, CA. Drew has taught at both middle school and high school and has taught a range of math classes consisting of: Pre-Algebra, Algebra Readiness, Algebra, Math 1, Geometry, TCM (Transition to College Math), and Precalculus. Drew has always had an interest with incorporating the use of technology into his classroom from graphing calculators to math software.
Since Drew has taught Geometry he is interested in working with Geometer's Sketchpad.
Drew is currently working on his Master's in Educational Technology degree through Michigan State University.

Kathryn Oleszkowicz

Kathryn teaches Special Education at the middle school level. She lives and teaches in Metro Detroit, MI. Her specific interests within the group of SIGVM are web-based applications that simulate mathematics concepts. She has an interest in this group because her students' need to have constant visual representation of mathematics. Abstract concepts are difficult for a variety of reasons for students with special needs. Abstract concepts involve a lot of language, many of her students have language impairments. She got her bachelor's from Michigan State University in 2013. She is currently studying to get a Master's in Educational Technology degree through Michigan State University.
